About Richard M. Mehigan
A native of Tennessee, Richard M. Mehigan (Rich) received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, in 1969. Immediately after graduating, Rich enlisted in the United States Air Force. After completing Officer's Training School and Pilot Training in Texas, Rich was assigned to Mather Air Force Base in Rancho Cordova, California.
Upon separation from the Air Force, I decided to become an attorney, attending the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. During law school Rich, and his new wife Cathleen, managed an apartment complex in downtown Sacramento where Rich discovered his niche in civil law. Since passing the bar in 1977, Rich has practiced law in the Sacramento area, specializing in representing owners and managers of multifamily residential rental housing.
