Blair Mehigan
Attorney, Managing Partner
Blair Mehigan, a seasoned attorney admitted to the California Bar in December 2017, brings a unique blend of experience to the firm. A graduate of UCSD, Blair initially ventured into finance and banking. His passion for law led him to Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, where he pursued his legal studies and began his tenure with Mehigan Law as a Law Clerk and Litigation Associate.
Upon earning his law degree and passing the Bar, Blair immediately immersed himself in the practice, making court appearances and providing sensitive legal counsel to clients. Except for his years in San Diego for college, Blair has been a lifelong resident of the Sacramento area, deeply rooted in its community.
Outside the professional sphere, Blair is a devoted family man and a self-described “coffee nerd” – otherwise known as a connoisseur. He relishes the local culture and is an enthusiastic, albeit long-suffering, Sacramento Kings fan.
Blake Mehigan
Attorney, Managing Partner
Born and raised in the Sacramento Area, Blake Mehigan pursued his undergraduate studies at Chico State, earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2013. Upon graduation, he joined Mehigan Law as a Law Clerk and Litigation Associate, working under the mentorship of his father, Rich Mehigan. Eager to deepen his legal expertise, Blake enrolled in Lincoln Law School of Sacramento in 2014, graduating with a Juris Doctorate four years later.
After successfully passing the California Bar Exam, Blake officially joined the legal practice at Mehigan Law in 2019. His journey from legal assistant to practicing attorney has imbued him with a multifaceted understanding of the law, enriching the firm’s collective expertise.
Beyond his professional commitments, Blake is a man of varied interests. He cherishes quality time with his family and passionately supports the Sacramento Kings. His love for music takes him to concerts, and he enjoys exploring the rich food and drink culture that the Greater Sacramento Area offers.
Rachel Renno
Attorney
Rachel Renno, a Sacramento native, is a distinguished graduate of McGeorge School of Law. Admitted to the California Bar in 2010, she has built her career in boutique law firms, mastering the art of client-centric legal service. This experience has equipped her with a nuanced understanding of every facet of a case, from initial consultation to final resolution.
Rachel’s legal acumen spans a wide range of civil litigation, making her exceptionally versatile in addressing diverse legal challenges. However, her portfolio at Mehigan Law brings her experience to small property management companies, including the often-overlooked area of mobile home park evictions. She also services independent landlords. Rachel gives a high level of personal attention to these clients as they have unique challenges, needs, and characteristics.
Rachel’s track record speaks for itself. She has consistently secured favorable outcomes for her clients, including substantial settlement agreements in state and federal courts. Her approach to case management is timely and professional, reflecting her dedication to client success.

The Legacy of Richard M. Mehigan
After serving as an Officer and pilot at Mather Air Force Base, Richard M. Mehigan pursued his legal education at the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge Law School in Sacramento. Admitted to the California Bar in 1977, Richard spent over four decades establishing a practice renowned for its swift, proficient legal representation, setting the gold standard for landlord-tenant client services across Northern California.
